Stud got a raise and I am going to try and convince him that we need someone to come in a help. At least once or twice a month. I have many friends who have someone comein weekly. Can you INAGINE!?!?

that is a classic. If I had my fictitious houskeeper when I was a kid, I would have used that excuse!
You guys are great. I've been in seclusion the last couple of weeks or so, trying to get my work done in between all of the dance recitals, guitar recitals, soccer wind-ups, softball wind-ups, etc..., and it's so comforting to get a comment in my inbox when I'm close to calling it quits.
Jamie - As of now, she has found her homework, but she still has two textbooks that haven't been handed in to the library yet. That's some cleaning lady! Thanks for the wishes for #1.
Katy - I could use that excuse too, except our Ruffy seems to prefer shoes to homework. ;-)
Hippo - Nice to see you back. I would be honoured to be in your movie, but I can't possibly help this week. I can definitely do it next week, if you can wait until then.
Lowa - I would let someone cut off my baby toe if it helped me get a weekly cleaning lady. I might need a little anaesthetic, but I would do it under those conditions.

Hi Savant - Nice to meet you. One of the things I found interesting about this story is that the student didn't make excuses, the mother did! Welcome to my world.
