About Me

My photo
I am a mom, a wife, and a teacher-librarian. I have four boys at home: Main Man (44), #1 (14), #2 (11), and #3 (7). Although they keep me very busy, I also look after a library for an elementary student population of 500 (give or take). I love my family; I love my job.

High School Musical 2

Aren't they just too cute for words?

We've already watched it twice today.

Of course, the second time we had to sit through Main Man heckling it, but that's the price we have to pay in this household.

Hmmm...will have to give it a try. I am not sure what I think that about that boy. Seems too...pretty?? or something. I dunno. Can't put my finger on it. The kids and I watched the first one a few years ago and they seemed to like it more than I did. I am not much for musicals.

LOL about Main Man. Sounds a little like our house, except here it is Jock. Mr. Pessimist, negative, critical...guy. Kinda hard to take sometimes. Makes me sad too, cause he is totally serious (I assume Main Man is mostly kidding around) and he is only 12. I worry he will be an angry, lonely old man one day:(

I know what you mean about the kids liking it more than you. I'm a bit the same, but I have to admit that I would have cut off two of my toes to have been able to attend a high school like that. This is the girl who never once missed an episode of Fame. (I know, I know - they're fictional, but all the same...) BTW - I love musicals!

Too bad about Jock. Maybe someday he'll meet a girl who will turn him around. ;-) (Not sure that's what you want to hear. )

I have to admit I was excited about it coming on last night but my 5-year-old only wanted to watch about 30 minutes of it. ;)

She did like the opening music, though.

Jamie, all three of my boys sat through it. I was especially surprised that #1 was still interested. Of course, like his father, he did his share of heckling, but I could tell that he still enjoyed it.

i didn't see the movie but the guy played in this movie on life time about this single mom with 2 boys that had autism - Miracle Run and he was really good in that one.

Katy, I've heard that he's in Hairspray, as well. I haven't seen it yet, but I hope to. Have you seen it?
