I snuck out of the house this morning before anyone else was up.
Report cards go out in ten days, so I'm in cramming mode. I wanted to get out to the school early to get some serious work done.
I worked for a couple of hours and I found myself very hungry, so, even though it was only 11:10, I decided to have my lunch. Well, it's now 11:30 and I'm finished my veggies and dip and my rice cakes and tuna. With a lunch like that, I'm going to feel like picking up a burger at about 2:00!
I'm not quite ready to delve back into the books, so thought I'd visit good ol' blogger and say hi to everyone. If you're reading this, please leave me a comment. I'm looking for lots of little diversions today.
Sitting here in this isolated classroom crunching numbers, I'd really like to know that someone's thinking of me.

Put down the books. Let's have a burger. And a beer. Or four.
Thanks, Mist. I have put down the books for now. Main Man is taking the boys to a movie tonight, and I was planning to work more then, but I'm feeling a little burnt, so we'll see how successful I end up being.
Cool blog and I love your thumbnail
Thanks, TK. But yours is even better!
Great to meet you. Come again soon.
Nice to meet you to, and thanks for the funny comments. Hope to see you back!
TK - Oh, I'll definitely be back. See you soon!
I checked for a new post on Saturday but Malaysia could well be 11 hours ahead of you but there wasn't any. It could have been just before this came up. I did think of you. hugs. :-)
Don't worry, Susan. That's okay.
No one got a comment in while I was out at the school. I figured it was just God's way of telling me I was supposed to work, not play that day.
:-)
sorry I didn't get to stop by till now. Hope you had a nice weekend
Thanks, Katy. I hope you did too.
Wish I had seen this in time!
Hope you had a productive time.
I need to get planning for next year, when my kids are all home again. I have some fun projects and unit studies planned, need to get it written out and scheduled and materials organised now while I have a bit more of a chance. I sometimes sneak away to the local library to plan my lessons or have Stud take the kids somewhere so I can get things organised. I can't imagine doing anything for more than four kids. I think you are amazing! Hang in there! Like you said, this too shall pass. I think you said it, I read these posts a while ago and am in a rush and going by memory!
Off to dance class!
Lowa - That's okay you didn't get a chance last Saturday. Watch this Saturday. You'll probably get another chance. I'll be out there all weekend this weekend, too. :-P
